Stay Focused, You Are For God’s Purpose
Scripture: Ephesians 2:10 — For we are His workmanship, created in Christ Jesus for good works, which God prepared beforehand that we should walk in them.
God’s election of believers being in Christ is for His glory. God has made redeemed sinners an eternal object lesson of His magnificent love and grace even to the angels. The exceeding riches of His grace of kindness shall be revealed to saints much further in heaven.
We have been placed in the position of children of God. (Romans 8:15, 23; 9:4 and Galatians 4:5). God’s desire is that all believers should be mature children in His family (Romans 8:29). Why? According to the good pleasure of His will. The cause of God’s grace on us is not to be found in us, but in Him alone (Titus 3:5; Eph. 2:8-10). The will of God is the determining factor.
The good works are already prepared for us in Christ. What applications can you use to walk in your purpose?
